Online Course Development

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop online courses and content from conception to completion
  • Ensure responsive design and compliance with copyright requirements, and implement AODA/WCAG guidelines and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles
  • Create the ‘look and feel’ of the online courses and design all graphic elements including: style guides, content pages, icons, page banners, badges, and infographics

Multimedia Content Production

  • Produced and directed the keynote video for the Educational Technology Committee’s 2016 Advancing Learning Conference
  • Create multimedia content including experiential and interactive learning objects and videos to support course learning outcomes
  • Collaborate on script writing and editing for online experiences including videos and 3D video games
  • Direct and record voice talent; edit audio for multimedia projects

Consultation

  •  Provide consultation  on creating accessible content and webinar facilitation 

Work Study Student Supervision

  • Supervise students on various accessibility projects and train them on how to create accessible documents to meet AODA compliance

Mobile App Design

  • Collaborate with a back-end developer to design and create mobile apps considering usability design and system thinking
